Communicology, Engineering in Social Communication and family. General notes of a research proposal

Abstract

A sketch of the research project Engineering in Social Communication and Family, part of the overall research program on Engineering and Social Communicology is presented. The note focuses on the main conceptual resources used from Communicology, a methodological program note based on life stories and discourse analysis. Also an analytical note on the first results of the first phase of the overall inquiry is presented. The research project started in 2010 will finish its first phase in 2014. The general proposal is to point out that it is possible to identify general setting profiles of communication between partners and family in synthetic models of family types. With this will be possible to construct Communiconomy schemes for intervention in family historical developments from a Social Communication Engineering perspective, identifying the main problems of communication in relationships and families, and their solutions, from the point of view of Communicology, Communiconomy and Social Engineering in Communication. The research focuses on the relationships of middle class families in southern Mexico City in the last sixty years.
