Muertes por sustancias químicas en el ámbito laboral municipio de Soacha 1993 - 2008

Abstract

This study allows an insight into the magnitude of the problem generated by chemicals in the workers of the municipality of Cundinamarca between the years 1993-2008 based on reports obtained from the basic unit of the Directorate East Regional branch of the Institute Cundinamarca of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences; finding the leading cause of death carbon monoxide poisoning in workers in the informal sector. Also causes the concern of creating an instrument that allows adequate records of these events and through this, programs for employers and workers, which can make them aware of the exposure they are submitted and before an invisible enemy such as substances chemical and whose result is evident in the mortality of children found during the review of reports.
