Resumen
This research analyses the role of South-South cooperation provided by Brazil and Ecuador in technical education in Haiti after the earthquake that took place in 2010. Knowing that the main objective of South-South cooperation is to exchange knowledge and techniques through projects in which Brazil and Ecuador have experience, one of the strategies that these countries have in Haiti is to provide capabilities based on technical education, in order to encourage the development of human resources in different sectors. In this sense, Brazil and Ecuador were chosen because they were two out of the rest of South America’s countries that contributed most in this type of cooperation after Haiti’s earthquake, showing that technique education bet on the d evelopment of a country through the exchange of knowledge by teaching and training some group of people in specific areas.
