De la socialización política a la identidad política : un análisis de las FARC

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to approach the forms of political socialization existing within the guerrilla of FARC, as well as to explain the way in which they contributed to the formation of a political identity in its guerrilla members. The paper argues that the "basic school for guerrillas" and the constant implementation of a Marxist, Leninist and Bolivarian discourse represented forms of political socialization that contributed to the formation of a political identity in the new members of the guerrilla group. Likewise, the creation of affective and restrictive bonds between the old and new members created loyalties that influenced in that the political values and social norms, were progressively internalized. For this, a methodology of ethnographic interviews to members of the FARC combined with a documentary analysis was used.
