Abstract

The development of this paper seeks to establish that the political changes that took place in 2010 in the Colombian government was crucial to fortify the bilateral Sino-Colombian relations especially in economic sector, leading to the signing of the Master Plan for Development of the Magdalena River that would influence the river morphology, increasing the competitiveness, thus affecting trade relations not only with China but with the rest of the world since the asymmetrical negotiations would be reduced, among which are the value of the goods offered in outside.
