Abstract

The spanish galleon San Jose, which sank in 1708, is now the most wanted ship because the five million dollars that houses. When the expresident of Colombia Belisario Betancur noticed this, a fever of corruption began between de powerfull people in Colombia and treasure hunters. In 2013 the president of Colombia Juan Manuel Santos approved the Law 1675, which aims to regulate the extraction and protection of submerged cultural heritage. Altought, as various sources evidenced, this is only the green light expected from the ambitious that have waited for decades the chance to obtain personal benefits from the Nation's heritage.
