dc.description.abstractToday, the companies are looking for different points as an extra value, that makes them different from their competitors, and the clients can make a choice based on it. That´s why, this Companies are adopting management models like Quality Management System, obtained by ISO 9001:2001 Certification. The object of this research is to study the process of implementation for a Qualitiy Management System in Fresenius Medical Care Colombia, a multinational Germany company world leader in Dialysis treatment and products needed, for patients with renal insufficiency. Additionally this research covers the corporate creativity, based on the Alan G. Robinson´s and Sam Stern´s book, “Corporate Creativity - How innovation and improvement actually happen", and it´s six elements that every creative company must have versus the actuality of Fresenius Medical Care Colombia, after the Certification process. They will be identified and evaluated the elements of creativity affected by the standard requirements, showing as a conclusion that no matter the principles of a quality management system improve some of the elements of a creative company, the standard imposes a rigid ways of doing the work for the employees and close the spaces for creative endeavors.
