Transporte terrestre de carga refrigerada

Abstract

Caribbsa Port is a Colombian company dedicated to the transport of cargo from different lines nationwide as liquid cargo, refrigerated cargo, containerized cargo, within other types of cargo, in a context of quality, efficiency, security, and responsibility. In recent years, the company has been having problems with the refrigerated cargo transportation from Bogota to Santa Marta, which has generated the lack of efficiency and loss in the service. Through an in-depth investigation of the company and the operation of transporting this cargo, it is concluded that the company must change in aspects such as linking of vehicles for container transportation, type of refrigeration to be used in the containers, alternative containers and refrigeration and generation equipment, and outsourcing for equipment maintenance.
