Abstract

The foreign strategy of security and defense of Brazil is the main element of regional projection of this country. Through the use of international and regional institutions such as the Union of South American Nations and the South American Defense Council, Brazil has successfully configured as an emerging player with great potential to transform the balance of power in the International System.
