Análisis de las sanciones internacionales en el marco del tratado de no proliferación nuclear. Estudio de caso: energía atómica en Irán (2006-2015)

Abstract

The purpose of this final project is to examine the impact of international sanctions throughthe nuclear non proliferation treaty in the case of Iran during the period between 2006 – 2015, taking into account historical factors from previous years. I will analyze and explain how the international sanctions can be a persuasive method to violate certain articles of the Treaty on the non-proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. Lastly, I will identify and analyze the types of economic, financial and commercial sanctions which the states and the Security Council has set and also the manner in which they have affected the political sphere in both Iran and the world.
