Efectos de la crisis económica europea en el panorama migratorio colombiano. Estudio de caso: migración laboral española en Colombia (2008-2013)

Abstract

Currently, Colombia is inserted in the international migration dynamics, as not only expeller country of these flows, but as a destination and transit country; the transformation that has had the Colombian migration panorama is recent and is due to multiple factors of internal and external nature. The strengthening of the Colombian economy and the situation of the Spanish economic crisis has created a favorable environment for the arrival of a highly skilled labour migration from Spain. This situation has not only set the country for the first time as a migration destination, but highlighted the need for a migration policy effective and able to meet the challenges posed by the new reality of migration.
