Crisis de los Rohingya (1991-2015): ¿una amenaza a la seguridad nacional de Bangladesh?

Abstract

This case study is aimed to analyze in which way the Rohingya coming from Myanmar affects Bangladesh’s national security from 1991 to 2015. In consequence, it is proposed that this population is set as a non-traditional security threat to the environmental, military and economic security of Bangladesh as result of the threats to human security that this people face in Myanmar and Bangladesh. It will be used concepts from the theory of complex interdependence of Keohane and Nye, from the notion of comprehensive security of Barry Buzan and other concepts as human security and non-traditional security threat. The information used to support this analysis will be qualitative and it will be recollected from secondary sources of information.
