This exporter plan is projected for a term of three years; it would help ITAC IT
APPLICATIONS CONSUTING S.A. to guide its activities in the international market
for the years 2009, 2010, 2011. The priority for the first 2 years, it´s to improve
inside the company, which it would be the application of strategies in different
fields: They are human capital, intellectual capital, cultural capital, economic
growth, commercial strategies in the international area, and building of financial
capital for the production of revenue
To have part in international market, show its export potential and achieve the
expectations of growth from independent sales from the ones obtain in the local
market. It pretends to begin in the market with destination to (Peru) with exports for
$36.000 dollars corresponding to 30 units in 2009, increase to $72.000 dollars with
60 units in 2010 and $108000 dollars with 90 units in 2011.
The product to export was “SecureFile” in which factors of success were as: Very
competitive prices in the market, automatization on of the process of exchange of
information, software based on standards, run in any operating system.
Surveys were done where all the areas of the company were diagnosed giving
some results:
The structure organization is defined but its growth and necessity to include new
staff, but it is not clear the functions inside the organization chart and it depends
completely in the general office. This is why the main office must structure better
the sales department making new positions available according to the process of
internationalization.
The policies about the staff are worked in a casual way with valid criteria to
promote employees (effort, seniority, etc.); technical updates are done monthly,
recognition and participation in the company to its employees, excellent
atmosphere that allows performance test according to the goals. Have social
commitment within the organization. Great variety of motivation and social
responsibilities are done towards poor children. However, an area of human
gestures must be created and define the frequency of the trainings.
The revenue comes from the work done by IT with increments of 256% during the
last three years to gain $2´032.784683 million of pesos in 2007. The debt rate has
also gone up because of the necessity of install capacity, hiring of employees and
making requirements of the market as a necessity to generate a good credit report
with financial companies. It counts with financial back up to support its immediate
obligations with $4,42 by $1 due in 2007 even being the year with the biggest debt
rate printing current liabilities for $127.715.281,37. The four partners count with a
conduct of 164, 67% (2006) and 132, 97% (007) of earnings over the inversion
made before taxes and it currently manages more than 95% of its financial
information and countable in a systematic way.
The financial area of the company is not the weakest, but there is not a responsible
financial department in charge, this is why there should be a separate sector from
management with a financial advisor available 100% of the time.
In the particular case of the project of exportation the cost of production is centered
in “SecureFile” version 3.0 that does not represent marginal costs. Since the copy
of this software can be made as many times it’s needed without affecting in any
proportion the cost. The company does not use a formal method to calculate its
costs of operation and development of programs but has developed a system of assessment of cost in excel charts that in an organize way can reach a cost
according to its specific needs.
To the selection of the countries target, alternative and contingent a matrix of
preselecting six countries was done based on the governments demand and
security terms of the information through internet and the entrepreneur perception,
competence and other economic factors; giving as a result Peru, Costa Rica and
Mexico.
Finally, ITAC S.A. strength and support will help to achieve the aim propose
between the time stipulated, also the society with a Colombian company in Peru
will allow the incursion in this country and of course its minimum certification to
change and the constant innovation will place the brand “SecureFile” in the
international market.
