Campañas electorales y acción legislativa en el senado: un análisis del comportamiento de los partidos políticos durante el año 2014

Abstract

The main objective of this investigation is to examine the incidence of the campaign strategies executed by the colombian political parties in the legislative work, taken by reference the congressional election of 2014. Thus, it is held that the parties that showed a higher cohesion during the campaign, have the same behavior in the Senate. Therefore, the campaign strategies, applied by the parties are presented, with the purpose of determine the cohesion degree of each one of them, using as a framework the organizational dilemmas parties are exposed. Then, it is related with the legislative work that took place during the first period of this legislature. Finally, is analyzed the reform act that took place in this period.
