Estudio de la incidencia de las Regiones de Europa en el proceso de toma de decisiones y de integración en la Unión Europea, desde el Tratado de Maastricht hasta la actualidad
Bernal Geschier, Jorge
Regions in Europe have been affected in its political role, product of its economic importance they have had along all integration process in the EU. Deep problems as democratic deficit and the absence of a strong inclusion of citizens threat the unity in Europe. The Multi-level governance and the Principle of Subsidiarity haven’t created so far an identity among the citizen within the European Union. Under this spectrum, regions seem as the bridges that could approach the European Institutions and the citizenships.
