La institucionalización de la violencia en Colombia

Abstract

In this article some historical antecedents are examined –specially the institutional factors– that contributed to origin the conflict armed in Colombia. In this objective, I try to analyze how the institutional State´ incapacity to solve the conflicts in the property rights and land distribution, did that some social actors as farmers without land that occupied them illegally, tenant farmers and migrant workers of the properties and landowner, created parallel violent institutions in the fight to obtain their antagonistic objectives.
