Consumo de sustancias psicoactivas y medición de los factores de riesgo y protección, en la población estudiantil de los programas de pregrado de la facultad de ciencias, de una Universidad de Bogotá

Abstract

At the global level, consumer prevention programs have been established, aimed at reducing the physical, psychological and social effects that affect the consumption of these substances around them. For this, organizations worldwide have developed prevention and promotion strategies, whose objective is the reduction of the consumption of any type of psychoactive substance. The main objective of this analytical cross-sectional study was to identify the psychoactive substances consumed by undergraduate students of the Faculty of Sciences at a private university in Bogotá. Among the specific objectives was the characterization of the student population in which students aged 18 to 35 were found; identification of the psychoactive substances consumed, of which it was found that alcohol, tobacco and marijuana are the most predominant; determination of the risk factors and protection associated with the consumption of these, among which social permissiveness and accessibility to psychoactive substances was found to be a risk and protection from emotional distress, satisfaction with interpersonal relationships. As the perception of all students, is that you run a great risk consuming any psychoactive substance. The above was developed by applying the survey the standardized and validated survey of the Inter-American System of Uniform Data on drug consumption for university students, which determines: consumption, abuse and dependence of psychoactive substances and new psychoactive substances, to later make the comparison of the results with the results obtained, of the II Andean epidemiological study on drug use in the university population, report Colombia 2016.
