dc.description.abstractThe next paper contents a proposal for the publishing process and format of school´s newspapers, in order to help student´s education. This kind of media helps to affirm knowledge areas, to build and receive critics, and to build dialogue. These practices affect teaching strategies, because of the educative efforts are oriented to stress the “learning to learn” process. We take for granted that the newspaper is a link that connects community with the school, and contributes to find clues to performance students’ competences to face society. Thus, the objective is to create a format to be used in the school as a communicational platform, in order to help integration process between community and school. The research was conducted under the qualitative approach and with a descriptive design. After field research in schools, we concluded that a format designed for school newspapers helps educational institutions the access to communication spaces that the school must consolidate to increase the quality of the learning system.
