Oportunidades y amenazas para Colombia de pertenecer a la Alianza del Pacífico

Abstract

Through this project it has been analyzed the asymmetries in the four country members of the Pacific Alliance’s economies and how Colombia can face these challenges and convert them into opportunities according to the experience in different areas of its allies. According to databases of the signatory countries it has been found that the trade balance between Colombia and Mexico has a deficit and is constantly growing, being this deficit counteracted with future negotiations and agricultural specialization making better sanitary and phytosanitary measures required by those markets. Equally the doors are opened to enter to agreements with great world nature as the TPP, which the Republic of Chile, the United States of Mexico and the Republic of Peru already do part of it and wich represent for Colombia an opportunity for to be on the Asia – Pacific market and to achieve the perdurability of the companies, industries and sectors inside a global context.
