dc.descriptionEste estudo tem por objetivo apresentar a relação entre a preservação das informações arquivísticas digitais, considerando-as como elementos integrantes do patrimônio documental e cultural. Com o avanço tecnológico voltado para a informação, parte do patrimônio documental acaba por ser criado e utilizado em ambientes eletrônicos. Desse modo, necessitam-se estudos que encontrem alternativas para a preservação de longo prazo para tais informações, responsáveis por retratar parte da história e evolução da sociedade. A metodologia deste trabalho, pauta-se na análise de referencial teórico referente ao patrimônio documental e cultural, associando-o às instituições que produzem e salvaguardam documentos arquivísticos em formato digital.Preservation of digital information archive: effects for cultural heritage.Abstract: This study aims to discuss the archival preservation of digital information, regarding them as integral parts of the documentary heritage and cultural.
