Las migraciones contemplan transformaciones en los lugares de expulsión y en los de recepción, así como en los
grupos, comunidades, familias e individuos que las realizan. Dependen para ello, del tipo de migración, la frecuencia,
las motivaciones, las oportunidades, y/o el nivel socio-económico. En este documento analizare las relativas a las
estructuras económicas que inciden en el tipo de actividades que realizan en el mercado laboral al cual pueden
acceder cuando cambian de residencia. Lo abordare bajo la perspectiva Histórico- Estructural con la información
recuperada en el trabajo antropológico realizado en San Agustín Oapan, comunidad rural del Estado de Guerrero,
México, donde habitan los cuixcas grupo indígena nahua, que por razones económicas ha migrado a ciudades que
ofrecen oportunidades de trabajo; centramos la atención en la capital del Estado de Guanajuato, ciudad que soporta
su economía en gran proporción en el turismo, en donde estos indígenas venden sus artesanías. 65-73 monzonshine@gmail.com semestral The migration regards transformations in places of expulsion and in places of reception, as well as in groups,

frequency, motivations, opportunities, and/or the social-economic level. In this document I will analyze the relative
features to the economic structures which influence the type of activities that are done in the employ market which
people are able to enter when they have an address change. I will approach this subject from the Historical-Structural
perspective with the information collected I the anthropological work done in San Agustín Oapan, a rural community
of Guerrero State in Mexico, which inhabited by the Cuixcas a nahua indigenous group, that due to economic reasons
has migrated to cities that offer job opportunities; We center attention on the capital city of Guanajuato State, a city
that holds up its economy whit great proportions on tourism, where these indigenous people sell their handicraft.
