This report addresses the role of innovation in green growth strategies, and is a contribution to the OECD Green Growth Strategy. The OECD Council Meeting at Ministerial Level (MCM) adopted a Oeclaration on Green Growth on 25 June 2009, which invited the OECD lo develop a Green Growth Strategy. Green growth means fostering economic growth and development while ensuring that natural assets continue to provide the resources and environmental services on which our well-being relies. The OECD Green Growth Strategy was released at the May 2011 OECD Council Meeting al Ministerial Level (MCM), where it was welcomed by Ministers.
