dc.description.abstractA system and method of measuring and detecting impacts occurring inside a mill, by recognizing patterns and classifying them according to their power levels, in 5 order to operate the revolving mill in accordance with control parameters. Impacts are classified according to a Cartesian diagram, namely: a vertical axis for contacts between rocky material, and a horizontal axis for contacts between metallic material.
