| dc.description | El presente trabajo expone los resultados de una investigación que busca reflexionar sobre el Modelo Educativo Chileno, a partir de la década de 1990, en el ámbito de la Educación Cívica. Así, se intenta comprender los enfoques presentes en ella, y a su vez, determinar qué tipo de Ciudadanía y Cultura Cívica es la que se está transmitiendo en dichos modelos. Ello será inicialmente desarrollado a base de una descripción conceptual y teórica, seguido de un análisis de las diversas Reformas Educativas y los objetivos de las Reformas a las Bases Curriculares a la enseñanza básica y media. Finalmente, todo lo anterior será contrastado con estudios de cívica realizados a estudiantes de 8° básico y 4° medio entre los años 1999 y 2009 por la International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA), para comparar las visiones de la Educación Cívica existentes con lo que acontece en la realidad. | |
| dc.description | The present work shows the results of a research which seeks to generate reflections on the Chilean educational model, from the 1990s, in the civic education area. As well, try to understand the approaches present in it, and in turn, to determine what type of citizenship and civic culture is the one that is airing on these models, which will be developed, initially, to the basis of a conceptual and theoretical description, followed by an analysis of different educational reforms and the reform’s objectives to the curricular bases to primary and secondary education. Finally, all of the above will be contrasted with civic studies made to students from 8° year and 4° grade of secondary, between the years 1999 and 2009 by the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational
Achievement (IEA), to compare the visions of the existing Civic Education with what
