Resumen
Education evolves constantly, and in order to follow that process and the insertion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), a Systematic Review of the Literature (RSL) has been produced to answer the question of research regarding the use of educational applications focused on the production of text in high school and what is the current status of production in the academic setting in that subject. Based on that, two variables (e.g.; “educational applications” and “textual production”) were investigated in electronic databases such as ERIC, Scopus and Google Scholar, Artclies were selected based on the RSL process and a bibliometric analysis was performed. Despite the fact that it was found in the literature incipient studies around the subject, it was evident the potential contribution of the use of educational applications in the search for a quality education. © Springer International Publishing AG 2017. 570 921 930 5th World Conference on Information Systems and Technologies, WorldCIST 11 April 2017 through 13 April 2017 190479
