dc.descriptionAnorexia nervosa and bulimia are health problems that manifest themselves as eating behavior disorders that if they are not appropriately addressed may compromise the life of patients. The suspicion of adolescent eating disorders is related to the perception of family dysfunction. Prevention and treatment of eating disorders may be more effective if there is a family approach during adolescence; moments for a great opportunity for intervention, but at the same time a formidable commitment for Family physicians.en-US
dc.descriptionLa anorexia nerviosa y la bulimia son problemas de salud que se manifiestan como trastornos del comportamiento alimentario, que si no se atienden oportunamente pueden llegar a comprometer la vida de los pacientes. La sospecha de trastornos de la alimentación entre adolescentes está relacionada con la percepción de disfunción familiar. La prevención y el tratamiento de los trastornos de la alimentación pueden ser más eficaces si se realiza un abordaje familiar durante la adolescencia; momento en el que se presenta una gran oportunidad de intervención pero al mismo tiempo un formidable compromiso para los médicos familiares.es-ES
