dc.descriptionEn la actualidad la investigación arqueozoológica está tomando una mayor transcendencia dentro del análisis global del material recuperado. Es por tal motivo que la presente investigación se enfoca en la interpretación de este contexto arqueológico a partir del  estudio del material malacológico registrado en las excavaciones del sector de depósitos de conjunto amurallado Xllangchic- An (Uhle) en la metrópoli Chimú de Chan Chan; para así lograr esclarecer, a partir de la asociación con determinadas especies, las características medio ambientes que presentaban las zonas explotadas y las implicancias sociales que con conlleva el aprovechamiento de los distintos recursos malacológicas asociados a este contexto de almacenamiento.es-ES
dc.descriptionArchaeo-zoological research is becoming more significant in the overall analysis of the recovered material. It is for this reason that the present investigation is focused on the interpretation of this archaeological context based on the studies from the malacological material recorded in the excavations from the sector deposits of Xllangchic-An (Uhle) walled complex in the Chan Chan Chimu metropolis. This is intended to clarify the association with certain species, the characteristics of the natural environments from which the resources were obtained, and the social implications of the use of different conchological resources associated with this storage context.en-US
