Resumen
The basic vocabulary of Moseten is compared with those of Uru and Amuesha with positive results, and the same is the case in a comparison of the basic vocabularies of Panotacanan and Arawakan. The last connection runs counter to the classifications of both Greenberg and Swadesh, and it is suggested that these classifications may be seriously misleading in that significantly more inclusive groupings than those previously recognized might be doubtful.
