| dc.description | En este trabajo se ofrece un intento de análisis de la crisis económica de 2008, de sus repercusiones en América Latina y de las políticas económicas con las que se le ha enfrentado. Con este fin se resumen las características distintivas de la evolución de la crisis financiera y económica en Estados Unidos y se siguen las medidas instrumentadas por la Reserva Federal y el gobierno de ese país; después se revisan las características del auge latinoamericano de 2003-2008; luego se muestra la política económica instrumentada por los diversos países latinoamericanos durante ese auge, para terminar con la presentación de algunas medidas económicas de contenido social que se han instrumentado para enfrentar la crisis en curso. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This paper analyses the economic crisis and its repercussions in Latina America, with special concern about the policy responses and the actions adopted. With this purpose we examine the evolution of the economic and financial crisis in the United States of America, the actions of the Federal Reserve and the government. After that we show the specific features of the peak of the economies of Latin America, and then the decisions of political economy during that peak. Finally we present some particular actions applied by the governments to face the current crisis. | en-US |
