dc.description.abstractDue to the technological advance in the industry it is necessary to expand the knowledge in the field of automation, for this reason we present a pallet lift module (loads) that contribute to the learning process in the School of Engineering in School Systems Superior Polytechnic of Chimborazo (ESPOCH). The investigative method was used and techniques of the IEC 61131 standard were applied, in the automation of processes; Audiovisual Materials: Internet; Software: Twido Soft V 3.5; Computer Electronic devices: sensors, DC motors, connectors, relays, terminals, etc. It was possible to improve the efficiency in the control of processes of elevation of loads, at least human failures due to the physical exhaustion; It was emphasized the speed in the elevation and the classification of loads with an efficiency of 90%, thus increasing the reliability of the classification processes. It was also possible to replace the manual of work to improve productivity and reduce production costs. With the implementation of this module in the automation laboratory, it achieves in practice, improve load lifting systems, as well as improve teaching processes in mechanics teaching, recommend the correct maintenance to improve its useful life time.
