Abstract
En razón de haberse iniciado en nuestro país la dispensación de inmunoglobulina humana para combatir la hepatitis B y habiendo sido ya codificada (U.S.P. XXI) la vacuna antihepatitis B, se consideró oportuno proporcionar una recopilación sobre la etiología, nomenclatura (abreviaturas de antígenos y anticuerpos), prevención e inmunización pasiva y activa frente a las diversas formas de hepatitis, incluyendo las recomendaciones de la OMS para la elaboración de vacunas con ADN recombinante. Because of in Argentina has began the dispensation of immunoglobulines of human origin against hepatitis B (the anti-hepatitis B vaccine has recently been included into U.S.P. XXI) a brief review on ethiology, antigens and antibodies nomenclature, prevention and immunization against different forms of hepatitis is made includinf WHO recommentations about manufacturating of DNA- recombinant vaccines.
