| dc.description | A medio camino entre la crónica y la autoficción, con pedazos de reportaje e incrustaciones de archivos "Missing, (una investigación)" de Alberto Fuguet (2008) se instala en una tradición incipiente de biografías amorosas que pone de relieve el vínculo entre biógrafo y biografiado y se desprende de las exigencias de exhaustividad y objetividad que proponía una corriente canónica del género. La forma amorosa se define menos por el vínculo familiar (tío y sobrino) que por el despliegue de dos vidas inscriptas en la escritura. Fuguet cuenta la vida de su tío a través de la suya, o cuenta la suya con la excusa de estar buscando a su tío. Me interesa detenerme en los efectos que esa primera persona –la de Fuguet– tiene sobre la narración de una vida ajena –la de su tío– en términos amorosos y hospitalarios. Voy a aproximarme a una conceptualización de la forma amorosa de la biografía para revisar los modos en que "Missing" pone en tensión una conciencia moral biográfica y una ética de la fuga en el vínculo entre el biógrafo y su personaje. | |
| dc.description | Halfway between chronicle and autofiction, with pieces of reportage and embedded files "Missing (una investigación)" by Alberto Fuguet (2008) settles in an incipient tradition of love biographies that highlights the link between biographer and biographed and it emerges from the requirements of exhaustiveness and objectivity proposed by a canonical current of the genre. The loving form is defined less by the bond (uncle and nephew) than by the deployment of two lives inscribed in writing. Fuguet tells his uncle's life through his own, or tells his own with the excuse of looking for his uncle. I am interested in dwelling on the effects that this first person -Fuguet's- has on the narration of another's life -his uncle's- in loving and hospitable terms. My aim is to approach a conceptualization of the amorous form of the biography to review the ways in which "Missing" puts in tension a biographical moral conscience and an ethic of fugue in the link between the biographer and his character. | |
