El éxito o fracaso asociado es rotundo: existe amplia bibliografía respaldando el aumento del riesgo de pérdida tanto de inserción como de piezas dentarias en pacientes con inadecuada o nula TPS. El objetivo en esta etapa se centra en mantener el grado de salud alcanzado, y complementar muchas veces con procedimientos quirúrgicos y restaurativos. | |

The associated success or failure is resounding: there is extensive literature supporting the increased risk of loss of both insertion and teeth in patients with inadequate or no TPS. The objective at this stage is focused on maintaining the degree of health achieved, and often complementing it with surgical and restorative procedures. | |
