dc.description.abstractEste artículo examina las características del funcionamiento familiar entre mujeres encarceladas. Destaca la importancia de la familia como vínculo emocional y proporciona una revisión de la literatura utilizando repositorios como Web Of Science y Scopus. Los análisis realizados con VOSviewer despiertan un gran interés en la comunidad científica. Los temas de investigación se centran en cómo el encarcelamiento afecta a las mujeres y sus familias, con énfasis en los derechos humanos y la igualdad de género. Aunque el interés se concentra en todo el mundo, la investigación aún está en sus inicios, lo que enfatiza la necesidad de estudios longitudinales. Un tema común es la prisión, los presos y el entorno penitenciario.
