Propuesta de diseño de complejo veterinario de animales domésticos en la ciudad de Iquitos, 2022

Abstract

El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo principal el diseño de un Complejo Veterinario de Animales Domésticos en la ciudad de Iquitos, 2022, ubicado en el distrito de Iquitos, provincia de Maynas, departamento de Loreto, Perú. En el área metropolitana de Iquitos podemos encontrar una gran cantidad de animales domésticos enfermos y en mayor cantidad en estado de abandono, siendo los distritos de San Juan Bautista y de Punchana con las mayores cantidades de animales en abandono; no existen políticas ni instituciones públicas locales que se encarguen de esta problemática, en el transcurso de los años se han organizado grupos comunitarios que se encargan de rescatar y de cuidar a los animales hasta que les encuentren un hogar definitivo. La investigación comprende la identificación de las diferentes veterinarias de la ciudad y de las organizaciones sociales comunitarias; el análisis de los aportes de los antecedentes de estudio a nivel nacional e internacional; las bases teóricas que ayudaron a entender el comportamiento de los animales, las enfermedades que se pueden generar al no ser tratados a tiempo; las condiciones territoriales, geográficas y del contexto en el desarrollo del proyecto. El Complejo Veterinario de Animales Domésticos se orienta a la atención, cuidado, adiestramiento y refugio temporal de los animales domésticos en la ciudad de Iquitos, permitiendo así disminuir la cantidad necesaria de animales enfermos y en estado de abandono en la ciudad. En lo arquitectónico se planteó la propuesta de diseño del complejo veterinario de animales domésticos en el distrito de Iquitos integrado en el sector formando parte del Parque Zonal, de una forma espacial y funcional contando con los diferentes equipamientos como la clínica veterinaria, albergue para animales, hospedaje para animales, área de rescate animal, parques caninos, plaza para gatos y un spa para animales, generando un complejo de equipamientos con el fin de la atención, cuidado, adiestramiento y refugio temporal para los animales domésticos de la ciudad.

The main objective of this project is the design of a Veterinary Complex for Domestic Animals in the city of Iquitos, 2022, located in the district of Iquitos, province of Maynas, department of Loreto, Peru. In the metropolitan area of Iquitos we can find a large number of sick pets and in greater quantity in a state of abandonment, being the districts of San Juan Bautista and Punchana with the largest numbers of animals in abandonment; there are no policies or local public institutions that are responsible for this problem, over the years community groups have been organized that are responsible for rescuing and caring for animals until they find them a permanent home. The research includes the identification of the different veterinaries in the city and the community social organizations; the analysis of the contributions of the national and international background studies; the theoretical bases that helped to understand the behavior of the animals, the diseases that can be generated when they are not treated in time; the territorial, geographical and contextual conditions in the development of the project. The Veterinary Complex for Domestic Animals is oriented to the attention, care, training and temporary shelter of domestic animals in the city of Iquitos, thus reducing the number of sick and abandoned animals in the city. Architecturally, the design proposal of the veterinary complex for domestic animals in the district of Iquitos was proposed, integrated in the sector forming part of the Zonal Park, in a spatial and functional way with different facilities such as the veterinary clinic, animal shelter, animal boarding, animal rescue area, canine parks, plaza for cats and a spa for animals, generating a complex of facilities for the attention, care, training and temporary shelter for domestic animals in the city.
