Conocimientos y actitud del proceso de atención de enfermería (PAE) en enfermeros en el servicio de UCI en hospitales de la ciudad del Cusco, 2023

Abstract

La presente investigación titulada “CONOCIMIENTOS Y ACTITUD DEL PROCESO DE ATENCIÓN DE ENFERMERÍA (PAE) EN ENFERMEROS EN EL SERVICIO DE UCI EN HOSPITALES DE LA CIUDAD DEL CUSCO, 2023”, tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de conocimientos y actitud del Proceso de Atención de Enfermería (PAE) en Enfermeros (as) de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos en hospitales del Cusco, 2023, la metodología fue un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, alcance descriptivo, diseño no experimental y transversal; la población y muestra estuvo conformado por todos los licenciados en enfermería considerando la capacidad instalada en el Servicio de Cuidados Intensivos de los Hospitales Adolfo Guevara Velasco (EsSalud), Antonio Lorena y Regional del Cusco, siendo un total de 85 profesionales. Los resultados mostraron que 41,2% laboran en del Hospital Regional del Cusco, 17,6% en el Hospital Antonio Lorena y 41,2 en el Hospital Adolfo Guevara Velasco (EsSalud); 41,2% tienen de 40 a 49 años, 70,6% fueron del sexo femenino, 34,1% solteras y casadas respectivamente, 61,2% con especialidad y 49,4% de un tiempo de experiencia de más de 10 años en la profesión. En el nivel de conocimiento sobre el PAE de los enfermeros (as) 36,4% fueron buenos, 35,3% regulares, 21,2% muy buenos y 7,1% bajos. Con relación a la actitud de los enfermeros (as) frente al PAE se encontró que 70,6% de enfermeros (as) mostró una actitud positiva y 29,4% negativa; donde la actitud conductual y afectiva resultaron con menores indicadores favorables.

The present research titled "KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE OF THE NURSING CARE PROCESS (NCP) AMONG NURSES IN THE ICU SERVICE IN HOSPITALS OF CUSCO CITY, 2023" aimed to determine the level of knowledge and attitude towards the Nursing Care Process (NCP) among Intensive Care Unit Nurses in hospitals of Cusco, 2023. The methodology employed was a quantitative approach, descriptive scope, non- experimental and cross-sectional design; the population and sample consisted of all licensed nurses considering the installed capacity in the Intensive Care Service of the Adolfo Guevara Velasco (EsSalud), Antonio Lorena, and Regional Hospitals of Cusco, totaling 85 professionals. The results showed that 41.2% work at the Regional Hospital of Cusco, 17.6% at the Antonio Lorena Hospital, and 41.2% at the Adolfo Guevara Velasco Hospital (EsSalud); 41.2% are aged between 40 to 49 years, 70.6% are female, 34.1% are single and married respectively, 61.2% have a specialization, and 49.4% have more than 10 years of professional experience. In terms of the level of knowledge about the NCP among nurses, 36.4% were good, 35.3% average, 21.2% very good, and 7.1% low. Regarding the attitude of nurses towards the NCP, it was found that 70.6% of nurses showed a positive attitude, while 29.4% had a negative attitude.
