Nivel de conocimiento sobre vacunas, en madres de niños menores de 5 años que acuden al establecimiento de salud Ancahuasi – Cusco 2023”

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “NIVEL DE CONOCIMIENTO SOBRE VACUNAS, EN MADRES DE NIÑOS MENORES DE 5 AÑOS QUE ACUDEN AL ESTABLECIMIENTO DE SALUD ANCAHUASI – CUSCO 2023”. Tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre vacunas, en madres de niños menores de 5 años que acuden al establecimiento Salud de Ancahuasi – Cusco 2023. Metodología: la investigación fue de tipo descriptivo, diseño no experimental transversal y de enfoque cuantitativo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 143 madres de niños menores de 5 años quienes cumplieron con el criterio de inclusión. La técnica utilizada fue la encuesta y el instrumento el cuestionario. Resultados: con respecto a las características sociodemográficas se obtuvo que el 34,4% de las madres tuvieron entre 24 a 29 años de edad; 44,8% son madres convivientes; 52,4% tuvieron el grado de instrucción secundaria; 39,9% de las madres tienen de más de 3 hijos y 72,7% proceden de comunidades del Distrito de Ancahuasi. Según las dimensiones se halló para la primera dimensión conocimiento general sobre vacunas que el 13,3% de las madres obtuvieron conocimientos buenos, el 83,2% de las madres tuvieron conocimiento regular y el 3,5% tuvo conocimiento malo; para la dimensión efectos de la vacuna y cuidados post vacunales se halló 88,1% de las madres tuvieron conocimiento bueno y el 11,9% tuvo conocimiento regular. Se obtuvo como resultados que el 65% de las madres de familia que acuden al establecimiento de salud poseen un nivel de conocimiento regular sobre las vacunas y un 35% posee un conocimiento bueno.

This research work entitled “LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT VACCINES, IN MOTHERS OF CHILDREN UNDER 5 YEARS OLD WHO ATTEND THE ANCAHUASI HEALTH ESTABLISHMENT – CUSCO 2023”. Its objective was to determine the level of knowledge about vaccines in mothers of children under 5 years of age who attend the Salud de Ancahuasi – Cusco 2023 establishment. Methodology: the research was descriptive, with a cross-sectional non-experimental design and a quantitative approach. The sample was made up of 143 mothers of children under 5 years of age who met the inclusion criterion. The technique used was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire. Results: with respect to sociodemographic characteristics, it was found that 34.4% of the mothers were between 24 and 29 years of age; 44.8% children of cohabiting mothers; 52.4% obtained a secondary education degree; 39.9% of mothers have more than 3 children and 72.7% come from communities in the Ancahuasi District. According to the dimensions, it was found for the first dimension general knowledge about vaccines that 13.3% of the mothers obtained good knowledge, 83.2% of the mothers had regular knowledge and 3.5% had poor knowledge; For the dimension effects of the vaccine and post-vaccination care, it was found that 88.1% of the mothers had good knowledge and 11.9% had fair knowledge. The results were obtained that 65% of mothers who go to the health facility have a regular level of knowledge about vaccines and 35% have good knowledge.
