Conoce más de los laboratorios clínicos en el Perú. Pasos iniciales para su funcionamiento

Abstract

El presente artículo especial pretende abarcar los diferentes campos legales y normativos, alrededor del funcionamiento de los laboratorios clínicos (LC) públicos y privados en el Perú. Además, anhela generar un enfoque de responsabilidad al crear un LC y brindar resultados de las pruebas de laboratorio, que permitirán tomar decisiones a los médicos tratantes.

Los LC públicos y privados al pertenecer a las unidades productoras de servicios de salud de atención directa y de soporte; su autorización de funcionamiento dependerá de la aprobación de la categoría del establecimiento de salud. Sin embargo, el LC puede ofrecer sus servicios de forma autónoma y privada, por ser un servicio médico de apoyo, siendo crucial iniciar la tramitología para su funcionamiento e inicio de operaciones.

Este artículo, intenta abordar todas las aristas que son necesarias para dar este primer paso y lograr este objetivo.

This special article aims to cover the different legal and regulatory fields around the operation of public and private clinical laboratories (CL) in Peru. In addition, you want to generate an accountability approach by creating a CL and providing laboratory test results, which will enable treating physicians to make decisions.

The public and private LCs as they belong to the units that produce direct care and support health services; its authorization of its operation will depend on the approval of the category of the health establishment. However, the CL can offer its services autonomously and privately, as it is a support medical service, and it is crucial to start the paperwork for its operation and start of operations.

This article tries to address all the edges that are necessary to take this first step and achieve this goal.
