Repercusión de la violencia de género en la calidad de vida de estudiantes de obstetricia e ingeniería civil - UNSM, 2020

Abstract

En el presente estudio, se planteó como objetivo determinar la repercusión de la violencia de género en la calidad de vida de los estudiantes de la escuela profesional de obstetricia e ingeniería civil. La metodología empleada fue de enfoque cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo y nivel correlacional, cuya muestra estuvo constituida por 192 estudiantes, de la cual 100 estudiantes pertenecen a la escuela profesional de obstetricia y 92 estudiantes a la escuela profesional de ingeniería civil matriculados en el semestre 2020-I, asimismo para la recopilación de datos e información necesaria se emplearon como técnicas la encuesta y el test, razón p la cual los instrumentos aplicados fueron el cuestionario sustentado en la teoría de Barea C, 2013 como también un test el cual fue elaborado y adaptado al modelo de León J., Medina S., Ballesteros A., 2012. Llegando a concluir que, existe repercusión significativa entre la violencia de género y la calidad de vida, puesto la prueba Chi-cuadrado de Pearson alcanzó un valor de X2c=12,037a siendo mayor a la X2t=9.49 según el nivel de confiabilidad de 95%, asimismo el nivel de la significancia asintótica bilateral obtenida fue (0.017<0.05), el cual indica que la violencia de género repercute de manera negativa en la calidad de vida de los estudiantes de la escuela profesional de obstetricia e ingeniería civil, 2020, en efecto, a mayor nivel de violencia de género menor será el nivel de calidad de vida de los estudiantes.

The objective of the present study was to determine the impact of gender violence on the quality of life of students of the professional school of obstetrics and civil engineering. The employed methodology was of quantitative approach of descriptive type and correlational level, whose sample was constituted by 192 students, of which 100 students belong to the professional school of obstetrics and 92 students to the professional school of civil engineering enrolled in the 2020-I semester. Likewise, for the collection of data and necessary information, the survey and the test were used as techniques, which is why the instruments applied were the questionnaire based on the theory of Barea C, 2013 as well as a test which was developed and adapted to the model of León J., Medina S., Ballesteros A., 2012. It was concluded that there is a significant impact between gender violence and quality of life, since Pearson's Chi-square test reached a value of X2c=12.037a being higher than X2t=9.49 according to the reliability level of 95%, also the level of bilateral asymptotic significance obtained was (0. 017<0.05), which indicates that gender violence has a negative impact on the quality of life of the students of the professional school of obstetrics and civil engineering, 2020, in effect, the higher the level of gender violence the lower the level of quality of life of the students.
