Perfil de seguridad y restricciones de uso de los medicamentos pediátricos expendidos en un establecimiento farmacéutico privado - Trujillo, Junio-Setiembre 2020

Abstract

El presente informe tuvo como objetivo evaluar el perfil de seguridad y las restricciones de uso de los medicamentos pediátricos expendidos en un establecimiento farmacéutico privado de Trujillo, en el periodo Junio-Setiembre del 2020. Se realizó la revisión del perfil de seguridad y de las restricciones de uso de los medicamentos pediátricos, utilizando material bibliográfico nacional e internacional. Se identificaron las principales reacciones adversas de los medicamentos pediátricos y se describieron las restricciones de uso en función a la edad y peso. Concluyéndose que, las principales RAMs de los medicamentos pediátricos fueron prurito, rash, diarrea, náuseas, vómitos, urticaria, dolor abdominal y somnolencia. Así mismo, las restricciones de uso en función a la edad, ocurrieron principalmente en recién nacidos e infantes.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this report was to evaluate the safety profile and the restrictions on the use of pediatric medicines sold in a private pharmaceutical establishment in Trujillo during June-September 2020. The review of the safety profile and the restrictions on the use of the pediatric medicine was carried out, using bibliographical material of national and international origin. The main adverse reactions of pediatric drugs were identified and restrictions on use based on age and weight were described. Concluding that, the main ADRs of pediatric drugs were pruritus, rash, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, urticaria, abdominal pain and drowsiness. In addition, the restrictions of use according to age, occurred mainly in newborns and infants.
