This research addresses the effect of basic income on fixed Movistar under the null hypothesis of a relationship between rates quite relevant econometric cap and lines in service for the period 2001-2012. We used analysis of monthly time series cointegration by estimating a model of vector error correction so you can quantify the influence of the basic monthly rent on fixed and also determine what kind of effect causes a shock basic income on the same service. Results do show an econometric relationship with short-term imbalances and also a shock in the monthly rate for this service translates into an improvement of the evolution of the fixed telephony whose effect has a duration that exceeds the short-term.
