This research describes the methodology for implementing a Management System for Occupational Safety and Health to comply with Peruvian law (Law No. 29783 - Occupational Safety and Health, Supreme Decree No. 005 - 2012 - TR) and international standards force (OHSAS 18001: 2007) and analyze their impact on the risk level of the production process of organic bananas in the Association of Small Farmers and Ranchers the Algarrobal de Moro. The sample corresponding to employees and partners directly involved in the production process of organic bananas was selected from a population consisting of all members of the association. Research is probabilistic, under the pre experimental with Post test and Pre test. The investigation begins performing a diagnosis on safety and occupational health, for 95 people (members and collaborators) ie 80.5% of the working population which resulted in 17% being located in a poor range according to criteria of the present and through the matrix HIRA (hazard Identification and risk assessment) allowed assessment of the risk level and being able to apply controls on critical activities and according to the significant dangers is that political, definition of the legal requirements, was developed objectives , goals and programs to assess their compliance and procedures for implementation, monitoring and evaluation by the management of Safety Management System and Occupational Health to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and continuous improvement The implementation of this proposal involves a decreased risk initially assessed according to the criteria of this investigation, through a hazard analysis and risk assessment in the production process of organic bananas by IPER matrix (Hazard Identification and risk assessment), which shows results after implementing the Trivial risk increased 7% for a total of 9% of the total risk, the risk Tolerable increased by 24% making a total of 36% of total risk the Moderate risk increased by 4% making a total of 38% of the total risk, the major risk decreased by 16% having as residual risk of 18% of total risk and finally risk Intolerable decreased by 20% eliminating the total intolerable risks, the latter is crucial as it indicates that the work should not be started until the risk has been reduced or is eliminated; so you should specify some resources to control it. The implementation of the system means a total investment of S / 49458.90 and economic viability is determined by economic indicators such as net present value in S /. 48,968.86 (NPV> 0) and an internal rate of return of 35% (IRR> Cost of capital, CPK = 10%), accepting the investment proposal.
