| dc.description | This work aims to understand one of several forms of relationship with the place: one that occurs through the memory as lived time that remains in the present experience of the world, giving the place a specific sense of past. The memory that we consider here is the memory of the samba Paulista and its permanence is embedded in the Bixiga neighborhood, in São Paulo. | dc.description | Este trabalho objetiva compreender uma das várias formas de relacionamento com o lugar: aquele que se dá através da memória enquanto tempo vivido, que permanece na experiência presente do mundo, conferindo ao lugar um sentido de passado específico. A memória de que tratamos aqui é a memória do samba paulista e sua permanência está inscrita no bairro do Bixiga, em São Paulo.
