Crianza experimental de Cyprinus carpio variedad “carpa koi” en condiciones de laboratorio

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar experimentalmente la crianza de Cyprinus carpio variedad “carpa koi” en condiciones de laboratorio. Se utilizó alevinos de 10 g de peso promedio, con una densidad de siembra de 250 ind/m2, los cuales fueron sembrados en una tanque de fibra de vidrio (1.44 m de largo, 0.86 m de ancho y 0.56 m de alto) con 500 l de agua. Durante los seis meses de crianza, se utilizó alimento balanceado tipo inicio (2 mm) con 40% de proteína, con una frecuencia de alimentación de 5 veces al día; y para los meses posteriores se utilizó crecimiento (4 mm) con 35% de proteína, con una frecuencia de alimentación de 4 veces al día. Los muestreos biométricos y físico-químicos se realizaron semanalmente. En cuanto al crecimiento en peso y longitud, se registró el mayor peso de 100.5 g con una tasa de crecimiento a razón de 3.93g/semana. Los valores de longitud y peso promedio fueron de 14.44 cm y 41.85 g respectivamente. Respecto a los parámetros físico-químicos del agua, los valores de temperatura fluctuaron entre 23 a 26°C. Mientras que el oxígeno disuelto vario de 7,6 a 8.8 mg/l y el pH se mantuvo constante en un valor de 7.
