dc.descriptionOn March fourth of 2018 the Escazu Agreement was adopted, which first emerged on the United Nations Conference of Sustainable Development, also known as Rio + 20. The purpose of this agreement is to guarantee the full implementation of the rights to public participation in environmental decision-making processes, access to environmental information and access to justice.This paper analyzes the implications that ratifying the Escazu Agreement would cause in Colombia, in order to determine the impact of its implementation in the legal system.en-US
dc.descriptionEl 4 de marzo de 2018 se adoptó el Acuerdo de Escazú, que surgió en la Conferencia de las Naciones Unidas Sobre Desarrollo Sostenible del año 2012, también conocida como Río + 20. Este acuerdo tiene como propósito garantizar la implementación plena de los derechos a la participación pública en procesos de toma de decisiones ambientales, acceso a la información ambiental y acceso a la justicia.En este trabajo se analizan las implicancias que traería para Colombia la ratificación del Acuerdo de Escazú, para posteriormente determinar el impacto de su implementación en el ordenamiento jurídico colombiano.es-ES
