dc.descriptionAs one of the archaeological sites with the most extended historical continuity in the Peruvian territory, the archaeological sanctuary of Pachacamac has become a meeting and learning space that offers residents the opportunity to participate in a series of cultural and educational activities, as well as workshops. Integrating approaches from the new museology and considering it essential to prioritize the needs of the communities surrounding the archaeological sites that we manage, in this article, we characterize and reflect on how we have transformed our management and thus the relationship between the community, the museum, and the archaeological site.en-US
dc.descriptionAl ser uno de los sitios arqueológicos con mayor continuidad histórica en el territorio peruano, el santuario arqueológico de Pachacamac se ha convertido en un espacio de encuentro y aprendizaje que ofrece a sus vecinos la posibilidad de realizar una serie de actividades culturales y educativas, así como participar en diversos talleres. Integrando aproximaciones de la nueva museología y considerando importante priorizar las necesidades de las comunidades aledañas a los sitios arqueológicos que gestionamos, en este artículo caracterizamos y reflexionamos cómo hemos transformado nuestra gestión y, por ende, la relación entre la comunidad, el museo y el sitio arqueológico.es-ES
