| dc.description | Introducción. Esta investigación presenta la correlación de las variables Método Comunicativo y el proceso enseñanza - aprendizaje de la habilidad de hablar inglés. Esta propuesta se aplicó a los estudiantes de la Carrera de Mantenimiento de la ESPOCH. Objetivo. Se determinó el nivel de influencia de las técnicas basadas en el Método Comunicativo en la mejora de la destreza oral. Metodología. Se utilizaron dos métodos, técnicas e instrumentos para la intervención. Mediante su aplicación fue posible obtener datos con un alto grado de exactitud y confiabilidad. Un análisis estadístico descriptivo e inferencial mostró una mejora significativa en la habilidad para hablar en inglés en la comparación entre el pre y el post test. Para esta prueba se utilizó una prueba y rubrica de Cambridge nivel B1, para determinar la mejora cualitativa se utilizó una guía de observación. Resultado. El instrumento test evidenció una mejora de 2.3 puntos en la destreza oral. Al aplicar la prueba T-student con los datos obtenidos se ratificó el cambio luego de la aplicación del proyecto. La guía de observación mostró la correlación bilateral entre las variables. Todos los resultados demostraron el impacto positivo del Método Comunicativo en la destreza oral en inglés. Conclusión Se concluyó que el proyecto aporta significativamente en la enseñanza del idioma inglés y específicamente mejora la destreza oral. Se recomienda continuar investigando sobre este método para generar nuevos conocimientos para la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras. | es-ES |
| dc.description | Introduction. This research presents the correlation of the Communicative Method variables and the teaching-learning process of the ability to speak English. This proposal was applied to the students of the ESPOCH Maintenance Career. Objective. The level of influence of the techniques based on the Communicative Method in the improvement of oral skills was determined. Methodology. Two methods, techniques and instruments were used for the intervention. Through its application it was possible to obtain data with a high degree of accuracy and reliability. A descriptive and inferential statistical analysis showed a significant improvement in the ability to speak in English in the comparison between the pre and post test. For this test, a Cambridge level B1 test and rubric was used, to determine the qualitative improvement an observation guide was used. Result. This test instrument showed an improvement of 2.3 points in oral skills. When applying the T-student test with the data obtained, the change was ratified after the application of the project. The observation guide showed the bilateral correlation between the variables. All the results demonstrated the positive impact of the Communicative Method on oral skills in English. Conclusion. It was concluded that the project contributes significantly to the teaching of the English language and specifically improves oral skills. It is recommended to continue researching on this method to generate new knowledge for the teaching of foreign languages. | en-US |
