dc.descriptionIntroducción: Desde tiempos remotos, la humanidad ha estado en movimiento y se ha producido el fenómeno de la migración. Objetivo: Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo principal el determinar el nivel de incidencia de la migración en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes en las áreas básicas de Lengua y literatura, matemáticas, ciencias naturales y estudios sociales en la Unidad Educativa “Santa Rosa”. Metodología: se realizó una investigación mixta, en la cual participaron 339 estudiantes de educación básica elemental y 10 docentes. Como instrumentos de recolección de datos se utilizaron la encuesta para los estudiantes de segundo, tercero y cuarto grado y la entrevista para los docentes. Tanto la encuesta como la entrevista fueron condicionales, es decir, la siguiente pregunta dependía de la respuesta de la anterior. De esta manera se pudo evidenciar documentar el número exacto de estudiantes que provienen de hogares migrantes. Y el nivel de conciencia sobre este tema que tienen los docentes. Los datos obtenidos fueron consolidados y homogeneizados para su análisis. Resultados: los resultados obtenidos indican un gran número de estudiantes con ascendencia de familias migrantes del campo a la ciudad, quienes no tienen el apoyo de sus familias en las tareas escolares. Además, tienen problemas de rendimiento académico en todas las asignaturas. Sin embargo, este problema no está reflejado en documentos ya que los docentes realizan recuperación pedagógica y envían trabajos extras con lo cual, los niños mejoran su calificación.  Conclusión: luego de este proceso, se concluye que, en la Unidad Educativa Santa Rosa, existe un problema mayoritario con relación a estudiantes migrantes del campo a la ciudad lo cual acarrea problemas académicos los cuales se tienen que resolver al interior de las aulas mediante refuerzo académico, sin el aporte de los padres de familia. es-ES

As data collection instruments, the survey for second, third and fourth grade students and the interview for teachers were used. In this way, it was possible to document the exact number of students who come from migrant homes. And the level of awareness on this issue that teachers have. The data obtained were consolidated and homogenized for analysis. Results: the results obtained indicate a large number of students with ancestry from migrant families from the countryside to the city, who do not have the support of their families in school tasks. In addition, they have academic performance problems in all subjects. However, this problem is not reflected in documents since teachers carry out pedagogical recovery and send extra work with which the children improve their grade. Conclusion: after this process, it is concluded that, at Unidad Educative Santa Rosa, there is a majority problem in relation to migrant students from the countryside to the city, which leads to academic problems which have to be solved inside the classrooms through academic reinforcement, without the input of parents.en-US
