| dc.description | El objetivo del trabajo es evaluar el tratamiento a los estilos de aprendizaje en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje del inglés. Mediante la aplicación de varios instrumentos se detectó que el trabajo con los estilos de aprendizaje en la enseñanza del inglés es una debilidad que presenta la carrera de Lenguas Extranjeras en la Universidad de Guantánamo. Se tomó como muestra el primer año de la carrera de Lenguas Extranjeras con una matrícula de 48 estudiantes y un profesor del año en el curso 2016-2017. El modelo utilizado para detectar los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes y el profesor fue el de Programación Neurolingüística PNL de Bandler y Grinder. Para el análisis de los resultados obtenidos se tuvieron en cuenta dos elementos: el nivel de preparación del docente para el tratamiento a los estilos de aprendizaje en la enseñanza del inglés y el nivel de preparación de los estudiantes para el aprendizaje del inglés. Los resultados obtenidos en la aplicación de instrumentos como la encuesta, la entrevista y la observación a clases permitió confirmar que existe poco dominio de la lengua extranjera por parte de los estudiantes e insuficiente tratamiento a los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes por parte del profesor. | es |
| dc.description | The objective of the work is to evaluate the treatment of learning styles in the English teaching-learning process. The application of several instruments detected that one of the weaknessesof the Foreign Languages Major at Guantánamo University is the work with learning styles in the teaching of English. The first year of the Foreign Languages career was taken as a sample with an enrollment of 48 students and a teacher of the year in the 2016-2017 academic year. The model used to detect the learning styles of the students and the teacher was the Neurolinguistic Programming model NLP of Bandler and Grinder. For the analysis of the results obtained, two elements were taken into account: the level of preparation of the teacher for the treatment of learning styles in the teaching of English, and the level of preparation of the students for learning English. The results obtained in the application of instruments such as the survey, the interview and the observation of classes confirmed that there is little command of the foreign language by the students, and insufficient treatment of the learning styles of the students by the teacher.. | en |
