dc.descriptionRESUMEN: El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación fue definir la representación que tienen de sí mismas 5 adolescentes mujeres de 14, 15, 16, 17 y 18 años del barrio Oasis del municipio de Puerto Berrío Antioquia. Para lograrlo, el enfoque metodológico utilizado fue idiográfico, a través del diseño fenomenológico empírico. Por otro lado, al analizar los discursos de cada una de las participantes de esta investigación, se halló que muchas de las representaciones que se tienen sobre sí mismas, están mediadas por las representaciones sociales y familiares, empero, algunas de las jóvenes investigadas, se cuestionan todos estos discursos y los contrastan con su contexto social atravesado por el flagelo de la violencia, logrando construir su propia representación sobre sí mismas y la elaboración de sus proyectos de vida de forma individual desde sus representaciones y percepciones particulares, por medio de las evaluaciones que realizan a las palabras que escuchan y que definen los roles sociales de cada género.
dc.descriptionAbstract: The objective of this research work was to define the representation that 5 female adolescents aged 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 have of themselves from the Oasis neighborhood of the municipality of Puerto Berrío Antioquia. To achieve this, the methodological approach used was idiographic, through the empirical phenomenological design. On the other hand, when analyzing the speeches of each of the participants in this research, it was found that many of the representations they have about themselves are mediated by social and family representations, however, some of the young women investigated, They question all these discourses and contrast them with their social context traversed by the scourge of violence, managing to build their own representation of themselves and the elaboration of their life projects individually from their particular representations and perceptions, through evaluations. that make the words they hear and that define the social roles of each gender.
